Into the new year with quality
From 27 December, the Salzburg Christkindlmarkt will be transformed into a large New Year's Eve market. There will be an extensive New Year's Eve programme with lots of music, dancing and fireworks. New Year's Eve fireworks from the world's major metropolises will be shown on a large screen. The programme starts at 2 pm with a broadcast from Sydney.
The stallholders complement the range with lucky charms made of wood, metal, porcelain, ceramics, ..., and at the confectionery stalls there are edible lucky charms made of marzipan and chocolate.

The Kapitelplatz will be transformed into Kultur.Spiel.Platz. and a stage for regional artists and cultural professionals, free of catering and sales stands. International fireworks, films and the Raiffeisen New Year's Eve countdown will be broadcast on the LED screen between the performances.
