A co-operation between the Salzburg Christmas Market and the Musikum Salzburg enables young wind players to perform on the Cathedral Square.

A new musical attraction at the Salzburg Christmas Market are the performances of the ‚Young Tower Winds‘. The ensembles consist of up to 15 young musicians from the Salzburg Music Centre. With their trumpets and wind instruments, they play Christmas songs and melodies, delighting the international audience on Cathedral Square. The performances take place on Wednesdays from 6 to 6.30 pm.

Promoting children and young people is a top priority at the Musikum.
